The researchers from the non-profit group SRI International will be revealing their ingenious wall-climbing robot at the International Conference on Robotics and Automation in Pasadena, California. This little unnamed robot is believed to clamber up all common building materials like glass, brick wall, and etc by using electro-adhesion technology to generate electrostatic charges between the the wall substrate and itself to keep from falling. According to the senior researcher Harsha Prahlad, it requires relatively small amount of power and it is able to climb wall that are heavily covered by dust or other debris. See video for this wall-climbing robot yourself.
