It’s confirmed now that AMD is going to show off their brand new Puma platform and Griffin processors on June 3rd at Computex 2008. The new Puma platform will be paired with the new Griffin processor so called “Turion Ultra” along with an integrated Mobility Radeon 3200 graphics chip as well as WiFi chip. As what I know, this new platform will be used in all forms of notebooks and discrete graphic chip flavors of ATI Mobility Radeon 3450, 3650, and 3850 for display. Also, AMD claimed no SSD will be included this time due to high cost.
Sadly, we won’t see the Intel’s Montevina platform debut in the Computex due to some problems with the chip’s integrated graphics and some issues with 802.11n certification. AMD surely happy to know this.
